Lida Charissi is a creative director and interior designer with solid experience in a broad range of areas.
A specialist in commercial venues and shopping malls, she is familiar with the design and implementation of large-scale projects including innovative concepts and demanding implementation.
She also has an extensive background in the design of entertainment and dining spaces, offices and residences, as well as in the implementation of special events and promotions.
Works
A master of visual communication, Lida pairs high aesthetics and originality with functionality and technical excellence. She develops innovative concepts and implements them meticulously, in collaboration with a diverse group of artists, craftsmen, suppliers and manufacturers. Well-versed in branding and recognized for her talent for creating imposing spaces, Lida has oftentimes been called upon to design theatrical window displays and other artful environments with a strong branding component.
Born in Athens, Greece, Lida studied design in her native city and in Zurich, where she explored visual languages, fine arts, sculpture and painting.
Her client list includes an array of leading commercial firms (PLAISIO, SONY, FIAT, COSMOTE, COCA-COLA, SAMSUNG, VODAFONE, GUCCI etc). Special projects include Christmas and seasonal decoration of top department stores (e.g. ATTICA, Greece’s leading department store with 25,000 m² and 5 branches); planning and construction of exhibition spaces (e.g. Fashion Week, Greece’s biggest fashion event); and settings for unique events.
A seasoned professional, she moves swiftly from the evaluation of each customer’s individual requirements and the development of an original concept to the construction of unique decorative objects, the location of materials and manufacturers, as well as the full coordination of each project. Mixing color, texture, light and furnishings, she creates unique settings and uses selected media to promote the essence of brands.
She works individually and as a senior member of diverse teams, locally and internationally.
Her work has been featured in the Swiss Who-Is-Who, as well as in prominent Greek media (Athens Voice, Kathimerini, Vima Donna, K Magazine etc).
